Welcome
The ASME research committee on the Mechanics of Jointed Structures is a research community of engineers located at universities, national laboratories, and companies throughout the world. The common goal of our research is to develop predictive models of the interfacial mechanics for jointed structures so that we might be able to one day use joints as a design tool that can condition the response of a system instead of being a design liability due to the current state of not being able to accurately predict how joints affect the dynamics of structures.
